It’s easy to follow Jesus at camp … You’re surrounded by Christian friends. You’re in worship every day, twice a day! You’re spending intentional time in God’s Word. Everything seems to point you toward Christ.

But what happens when camp is over?

It’s been a few weeks since Fort Caswell and now we’re living in the “real world.” That’s where our faith is truly tested.

Tomorrow night, we’ll finish our final After Camp devotion from BeDoTell’s Daniel Rose as we discover how to keep growing in our relationship with Jesus long after the camp experience is over.

Have you ever wished God would just tell you exactly what’s going to happen next?

Which school should I go to?

Will I make the team?

Will this friendship last?

Why did this happen?

What does God want me to do with my life?

Daniel had questions too. God had shown him incredible visions about the future, but Daniel wanted to understand every detail. Instead of giving him all the answers, God simply said, “Go your way.”

In other words, keep living faithfully.

God reminded Daniel that he didn’t need to know everything. He only needed to trust the One who did. Daniel could rest knowing that God was in control and that one day he would rise again and receive the reward God had promised.

What an incredible promise!

The same is true for us. We won’t always understand why God allows certain things to happen or why He doesn’t answer our prayers the way we expect. We may never know what tomorrow holds.

But we know who holds tomorrow.

Faith isn’t having every answer. Faith is trusting God’s heart even when you don’t understand His plan. It’s choosing obedience over explanation. It’s following Jesus one step at a time, believing that He is leading you exactly where you need to go.

Don’t let unanswered questions keep you from following God today. Keep praying. Keep reading His Word. Keep serving Him. Keep trusting Him.

One day, just like Daniel, we’ll see the whole picture.

Challenge: Is there something you’ve been questioning God about? Instead of asking, “Why?” this week, try asking, “Lord, what is my next faithful step?” Then trust Him enough to take it.
