Have you ever felt like you have been faced with more than you can handle? This is a topic that was brought up by recently and her words couldn't have come through at a more perfect time.

This past week felt like more than I could handle, it felt like more that I ever wanted to handle. But, the reality is this week was exactly what I needed. It feels absolutely insane to say that, but without the push that this week gave me nothing would have changed!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When we are given events and circumstances no matter how impossible they seem, we are capable of making it through to the other side. These events are not meant to break us, they are meant to shape us, one step at a time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A few years ago a week like this week would have broken me, but now I know that it was a chance for me to grow, and put the things that i have been teaching into action.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Believe it or not "Frozen II" said it best "do the next right thing". One step at a time, look inside, pray, meditate, and have your community around you to support you. You are capable of handling the hard things!

S P R I N G
It's finally here! The promise of new birth, warmth, sunlight, joy, and peace! Wow, that's a lot of pressure to put on a season, and us! Do you ever get the "urge to purge" or the desire to clean everything in sight to just start over?! No? Just me? ok!

Just in case I'm not alone, this month I wanted to focus on ways to help you get your house feeling fresh. This winter we all barricaded ourselves inside with our sadness, isolation, and gloom so now it's time to get rid of all of that negativity and bring in some sunlight!

S T R E N G T H
Two years ago, everything changed. If you have followed me for a while you may have noticed the change. My depression had crept it's way back in, in a way that I didn't know how to control, and my anxiety was at an all time high. My business was suffering, my daughter was suffering, and my family was worried.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In November of 2018 I hit the biggest milestone of my business to date and I was on a major high, but by the next month everything changed. I started to withdraw, and I stopped moving forward. I lost sight of what I wanted and I lost track of what my goals really were. I blamed it on time, my circumstances, other people, my job, anything and everything but myself.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In late spring of 2019 I hit rock bottom. I remember calling my mom in tears because I was so scared. I had just woken up from a panic attack that resulted in me blacking out for somewhere between 15 and 20 minutes. I remember her telling me that I could no longer ignore what was happening and that I needed help.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I found a therapist and began digging a little deeper into what was going on. We talked about the goals I had for my life, the mourning that I never took the time to do for the lift I thought I would have, and about being strong and confident in the person that I am now.

H O M E
Have you ever felt like you were just HOME with an idea or when someone invites you to be part of something?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A little while back I came across a post by Aislin from that really hit home for me. It made me feel seen, but it also helped me give myself permission to go for that dream that I've had for myself for years.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So how do you know if an idea is like "H O M E". It lights you up inside so brightly that the people around you can't help but to ask "what's different?" Your body might tingle with excitement and anticipation for what is coming. Some of you might just feel a complete sense of peace. An overwhelming calm and sense of ease.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Those are the ideas that you are meant to be following. Take the steps everyday to bring those possibilities into reality. Lately, that has been the hardest part for me. What about you? Have you felt like you're just drowning and can't figure out where the steps are?! It's O K!

You will absolutely have days that feel like there is no way out or you will hit points that all you want is to quit, but hold onto that feeling of home. Hold onto the dream that got you to where you are in the first place. The struggle will all be worth it when you come out on the other side and you've come home to yourself! Just take one step, one day at a time.

Do you know what it feels like to blame yourself for the things that go wrong? Better yet, do you know how to change it?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Guilt is among the lowest vibrational emotions leaving us feeling low and down in the dumps. So how do you know if this is you? Here are a few things you might catch yourself saying:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨ I can’t believe I let this happen!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨ How could I....(fill in the blank)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨ I’ve ruined (blank)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do those sound familiar? Chances are that at some point everyone has blamed themselves for a situation. The important and difficult part is getting out of that negative vibrational state and “let go”.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I use the phrase “let go” loosely simply meaning release the feeling of guilt. Are you ready to release? Take a moment to breathe, apply frankincense, and grab your journal. This is an excellent opportunity for self reflection. Apply frankincense to your palms and inhale deeply, and apply the remaining oil over your heart. Reflect on the situation that you are struggling with and begin writing all of the what if statements that come to mind. Once you are free of “what if” thoughts write “I forgive myself fully and release my guilt!” Place your hands over your heart and inhale deeply with a smile in your face!
