It’s been over a year since I’ve made a post here, I lost my child and that is consuming my ability to share… but in spite of the lows; God is still good. That is the post. Keep us in your prayers.

We were created to be relational. Relational with God and each other. Allow your heart to relate to others, right where they are; whether they have needs or not. Be real, be relational!

Due to the inclement weather Bible study is canceled tonight! Stay safe family!!!

A view from my car coming home from work long ago... I am reminded how the biggest complaint about Christmas is it no longer has the ‘magic’ we experienced as kids... We hustle and bustle trying to get our kids and others the most expensive and elaborate gifts it’s easy to forget EXACTLY what Christmas celebration is about. Maybe we lost those we loved in the past, or this year... Our heart may be broken and bitter and we don’t feel ‘it’... Maybe Covid has attacked us or a loved one and this season just has little meaning to us.

Step back, catch your breath, and look... it doesn’t have to be at a sunset like this... just look... the first miracle is you’re alive to view anything... Now, after thanking God for that; look at of all the millions of things that COULD have happened to hurt you, God put His hands of protection around you and your family and brought you all to this very moment... thank You Lord.

Christmas wasn’t designed for you to ‘feel’ the magic. But if your focus changes from what you are getting and what you can afford to buy to the REAL gift... God’s Son, The King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Emmanuel... How can you NOT feel like I was so special to God He sent His very best gift to me(make it personal). While the gift was for the whole world... He had YOU in mind when this Jesus came to a little town of Bethlehem.

As you return to your busy life, take time, daily to tell Christ, thank You!!! Merry Christmas family!

It’s easy to lull yourself into believing you are right with God when you are using other people actions as the measurement. I don’t steal, I don’t murder and I am not hateful. Stop using people and start using God’s Word to expose the things in your character God wants you to change!

Broken things, missed opportunities, broken marriages, brokenness... it hurts! Would you believe me if I told you it’s a blessing to be in broken places? It’s in brokenness God is displaying His awesome power in working things out for your good. Try not to focus on your pain, just trust God and know it’s only a part of the process!!!

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you have value, your life has meaning; no matter how hard it gets or how hopeless it seems; just hold on until tomorrow... it will bring a change. If you haven’t heard it in forever... you are loved, even if it is someone as insignificant as me.
