Belk’s Charity Day Sales are still going on until tomorrow.! Buy a ticket for $5 and then use the ticket on your first purchase for $5 off. You can also use the 25% off on the ticket. People were standing in lines! One lady got 3 sets of sheets for $50. Another person got her great grandson a pair of jeans for $2. One lady strolled back by with a new pair of shoes she got for $8 using the ticket. All the money we get for tickets goes to our scholarship fund. We sponsor a UNC-C student who will be a future teacher! A great cause! Get to Belks and scoop up some bargains.

Speakers from The Coffee Nut came to speak with us about their vocational program through UCPS.
They are open Monday - Friday during the academic school year from 9:30-11:30 inside the aquatic center, and you don’t have to have a membership to go in and just support!

Tonight, Pi Chapter was honored to have Pam Deal and Renee Friday, District IV co-vice presidents join our meeting. They also presented Pi Chapter with a Pearl Certificate for work from last year.

Representatives from The ROB Foundation came to speak to Pi Chapter tonight. We learned about how The ROB Foundation provides scholarships to students who have endured the loss of a parent. If you are not familiar with this Foundation, check it out!

Pi Chapter collected items to be donated to the Council on Aging. They are ready to be delivered!

Tonight, Janet Abel, a chair yoga expert, guided us through a series of wonderful stretching yoga exercises. We loved every minute of it!

Yesterday, the North Carolina Alpha Delta Kappa State Convention took place at Cabarrus Arena, offering a fun-filled day. The event included four interactive group sessions: watercolor creation, book discussion, laughter yoga, and sister games. A delicious lunch was served, and Molly Grantham delivered an inspiring talk. Thank you to Renee Friday and Pam Deal District IV Co- Vice Presidents for making the convention so successful!
