Congrats to Alisha Anderson, Sofia Borquist, and Ben Burkett on Academic All-State.

Congrats to Jakobe Collins for placing 3rd in the 220’s. Jakobe squatted 605, benched 365, and deadlifted 600.

Congrats to Sofia Borquist for finishing as state runner-up in the 123’s. Sofia squatted 340, benched 165, and deadlifted 300 for an 805 total.

STAE MEET INFO

Congrats to Sofia Borquist, Alisha Anderson, and Kaper Talton representing Neville at the Girls North Regional powerlifitng meet. The girls were top 20 in their weight class in 5A.

Yesterday, they competed against the top lifters from 1-5A in the North region.

123’s Borquist was runner-up and broke the North regional squat record with 335 lbs. Pr in bench at 155 lbs, and barely missed 310 deadlift. 740 total should lock her into top 10 to qualify for state.

114’s was Talton who PR in squat with 225 lbs, 95, and 200 just missing 220 lb. She PR’d all 3 lifts and total of 520. Talton broke all the school records for the 114 lb weight class.

148 Anderson competed hard with a solid 250 squat and a PR on bench bench.

Congrats to Junior JaKobe Collins for his 600 lb squat and new 1510 total to break the 220 school record.

Freshman Christian Faulk broke the 181 lb school squat record of 500 lbs, formerly held by M. Howard in 2006, with 505 lbs.

Senior Ronald Corley broke the school SHW bench press record with 375 lbs.

Congrats to Faulk 505 breaking the 181 school record, JaKobe 600 squat, and new total 1510. Also, Corley 375 broke Blade's record with 375, and new SHW total.

Our boys made weight and refueled at Jade Garden.

Boys North Regional information. 275 of the best lifters in the North region (1/6) will all try to qualify for state tomorrow. The top 10 lifters, in each weight class, per class, will be released on Sunday or Monday.

Congrats to Ben Burkett, JaKobe Collins, Ronald Corley, Christian Faulk, Rondell Honor, and Josiah Smith for qualifying for North Regionals. Boys weigh-in is 2/20 and 2/21 lift at WM.

Also, congrats to Sofia and Alisha. Girls North regional is 2/27 weigh-in and 2/28 lift at Ruston.

The whole team had a great year. We doubled the amount of girls and guys lifters from year 1-2 participating at North Regionals.
