Autism is part of what makes someone wonderfully, authentically themselves. At ALP, we see incredible strengths every day: the child who notices details, the deep focus that turns into mastery, the creativity that solves problems in ways neurotypical thinking might miss. Each autistic person brings their own unique way of creating, connecting, and experiencing the world, and that diversity is something to celebrate!

Today we're showing you how to take a color walk! Color walks are one of our favorite activities for nervous system regulation. It’s super easy, costs nothing, and has tons of variations for inclusiveness.
Color walks give your brain a specific task to focus on to help you feel calm and grounded in the present moment.
