St. John's Montclair

St. John’s is excited to partner with Java's Compost to launch a new community compost drop-off site on our campus. For $20 a month, community members can drop off up to two bags of food scraps per week, including items not typically compostable at home, such as meat scraps and many paper products. As people of faith, we are called to care for God’s creation, and composting is a simple, practical way to live that commitment each week. To learn more, join us for the information session. Congratulations to the newest confirmands at St John’s! It was a joyous service yesterday at St James in Upper Montclair, filled with hope, celebration, and the reminder that we are never alone on this journey of faith.

We could use help refilling our Little Pantry! Now that the snow is gone and the sun is out, items are moving faster than they did in the winter. All shelf-stable, unopened, and unexpired food and sanitary products are welcome. If the pantry is full you can place overflow donations in the marked bin in the Parish Hall kitchen.
