The time, effort, and talent it takes to see a design and renovation to completion is not lost on me. It is certainly not for the faint of heart, and one of the reasons why styling those projects is so utterly appealing.
Long after the architects, designers, and craftspeople have left, and the homeowners have settled in, I get to do what I might to highlight the fine finishes and materials as the design was intended.
This project really was a joy to work on - so much texture + interest. Thank you to John and Traci for including me.

So many treasures, so little time.

Cannot wait to give these bits and pieces a new life.

Kitchen trends come and go - but blue and white is always a classic. Twenty years ago, we might have opted for a different counter - perhaps a light granite or a warm butcher block with traditional white subway tiles. Today, we went with quartz surfaces and oversized marble subway tiles, opting for a double edge on the island for substantial impact. Still clean and crisp - but lots of texture and interest.
