Oh man, I don't think those graphics are supposed to look like that.

This model 1 Sega Genesis came to us with a bunch of graphics throw up on the screen. After the issue was traced to bad VRAM chips we took some spare RAM chips from a donor unit and swapped them in fixing the issue right up.

After the graphics were back to normal the client decided to have us install an old fashion region switch too so it can play imports. 😎

Had such a fun time at the Monterey Public Library for their Retro Gaming Day event!!! Got to set up the CRTs and some systems for everyone to play for a few hours. Love to see the escited faces come in and light up at the sight of this old tech still being loved and cherished by kids young and old alike. 😁
