Summer 2026 keeps rolling in... and next up in the Wahine lineup... welcome back, Harry “Hammerhead Harry”!!
Another true Wahine-grown kiddo, Harry started with Explore Corps, made his way through Wahine, spent time volunteering with the crew, and now is heading into his second summer working with us.
Over the years, we’ve watched Harry grow into such an awesome part of the ohana. Always bringing good vibes, a fun attitude, and beach energy to the lineup, he’s someone both the crew and kids love having around.
From camper, to volunteer, to staff... Hammerhead Harry continues to represent what Wahine is all about, and we’re beyond stoked to have him back for another summer on the sand 🌊☀️

This summer marks Sara’s first season working and last year volunteering with the Wahine ohana, and we’re beyond excited to have her join the crew.
As she finishes up her final year of high school, Sara is stepping into a summer full of beach days, new experiences, and giving back to the community.
We’re stoked to have Sara on the sand with us this summer and can’t wait for all the memories ahead🌊☀️

Summer 2026 keeps rolling in... and next up in the Wahine lineup... welcome back, Will “Wacky Wave Will”!!
Some of our favorite stories are the ones where we get to watch kids grow up with the Wahine ohana... and Will is one of those stories.
From his younger days in Explore Corps, to Wahine camper, to volunteer, and now part of the summer crew, Will has been part of this community for years!
Will brings the kind of energy that makes every beach day better. He’s kindhearted, super dependable, easy to talk to, and always the first one willing to jump in and help however he can.
Whether it’s making the kids laugh, helping the crew, carrying boards, setting up beach games, or just bringing positive vibes to the sand, Wacky Wave Will is always all in for the community.
Watching the next generation grow through Wahine is what this whole program is about, and having Will back in the lineup this summer means a lot to all of us.
Another summer. More beach memories. More aloha spirit.
Stoked to have Wacky Wave Will back where he belongs 🌊

Summer 2026 keeps rolling in... and next up in the Wahine lineup... welcome back, Celesté “C-Monsta” though most know him as CA!!
CA is truly Wahine grown. From Explore Corps, to Wahine, to volunteering, and now heading into his fourth year working with the crew... he continues giving back to the same community that helped shape him.
Last summer we only got CA for a few short weeks while he was out putting in work with California State Lifeguards assisting with Junior Guards, so we’re beyond stoked to have him back FULLY in the lineup this summer.
As he finishes up his final year at Monterey High, CA continues to be someone the younger kids naturally look up to. They love his silliness, playful energy, and the way he makes the beach feel welcoming for everyone.
One thing about CA... he never gatekeeps the ocean. He’s always hyping people up, helping new friends feel comfortable in the water, and showing the next generation that the ocean belongs to everybody 🌊☀️
