the loveless community center senior wellness class — June edition.

one of my favorite events every month teaching seniors about the healing power of herbs and using food as medicine. 🌱

this month hosted a tea party complete with light bites and an herb table so the seniors could create their own tea blends to take home and add to their routine. they absolutely loved it! the tea party was in conjunction with this month’s lesson— creating a herbal tea ritual for healing.

Last month’s Tasty Tuesday at Bertha Williams Library was such a beautiful reminder of what happens when community comes together. 🤍

Hosted by Clarke Street Fund and FreshGreens Market, this monthly gathering is a space to talk, learn, share food, and build. From community care, food access, and economics to local politics, Black history, environmental science, advocacy, and more—nothing is off the table. These are the conversations that help us grow stronger together.

We believe real change starts with people sitting down, showing up, and imagining what is possible for our neighborhoods. One conversation, one connection, one shared table at a time.
