I'm thrilled to hear that AG Marshall has successfully secured a $12 million settlement with Roblox to protect children from online predators. That money will be put into funding School Resource Officers. While I know the intention of that is to protect kids, the dangers our kids face these days are not the kind a SRO can address. Money from those settlements should be funding mental health care and internet safety programs for youth.

I'm excited to see what's possible this year, not just for Huntsville Democrats, but for the whole state!

This weekend the Alabama Democratic Conference met to screen candidates and issue endorsements. I don't have primary opposition, so I wasn't up for endorsement, but I was there to cheer on my fellow Democrats. We have some great candidates, so start researching and getting ready for the Democratic Primary on May 19!
