💪 Here is this week's challenge to build our businesses. This one may take 30 minutes or more, but your gains could be huge with increased productivity.

🗓️ DAY 14: Check out new features with the business apps or tools you are already using. Software apps are constantly coming out with new and improved ways to save you time.

👩‍💻 You might also consider learning or improving a skill with your business app by viewing YouTube or other sources from experts in that industry.

Do the same with other tools that you've already been using, but not at full capacity. For me, I know that my accounting software has functions I've never explored, so I'd make time to see how it could help me.

👩‍🏫 Your customer acquisition cost (CAC) is the cost of convincing a potential customer to buy a product or service. Tracking this is important for your business, as you can see whether your marketing dollars 💰 are being spent wisely or not. You may discover you need to reallocate some of those dollars toward a more successful channel.

🧮 The CAC can be calculated by simply dividing all the costs spent on acquiring more customers (marketing expenses) by the number of customers gained in the period the money was spent.

To get an accurate report, don’t forget to add these costs into your formula:

🔹 Ad costs
🔹 Contractor and employee costs
🔹 Creative costs (SEO, blogging)
🔹 Technical/software costs
🔹 Publishing costs
🔹 Production costs
🔹 Inventory upkeep

💰 So, let's say you've spent $100 last month on acquiring 1 customer. Your CAC is $100. If the gain is a $500 service purchased, that's a $400 profit, a good investment. If the gain is a $10 product, that's a loss of $90, not a good investment. 💸

🙌 Some of the best returns on your valuable marketing investments are in repeat buyers and loyal customers. Keeping them happy should be a high priority.
