Collected Along The Way
Collected treasures and beautifully rediscovered things ✨
Fashion, nostalgia, storytelling, and pieces finding their next life along the way 👜🌙
Best part of 🛍️ at Dance Competitions… All the Sparkles 💖
I always chuckle a little when people talk about AI destroying the environment while I’m over here digging through thrift stores, rescuing things from landfills, repairing, reusing, and giving items a second life. ♻️✨
Whether someone uses a staged room, a real shelf, or an AI-generated background, buyers still want to know what they’re actually getting.
⚡️And if we’re talking sustainability, I’d argue keeping quality items in circulation instead of the trash is one of the most eco-friendly hobbies around. 😆📦
You call it a death pile. I call it unrealized potential. 📦✨ Turning clutter into vacation money, one weird find at a time. A-a-ay… collected along the way 🎶

Collected Along The Way: Evidence that I am, in fact, a millennial. 😂
While sorting through old memories, I found a Hanson poster, early 2000s photos, and enough nostalgia to make me question how much time has actually passed.
It’s funny how the things we save end up becoming little time capsules.
A poster.
A photograph.
A favorite CD.
A ticket stub.
One day they’re just part of your room.
Years later they’re part of your story. ✨
What was hanging on your bedroom wall growing up?

✨ New-to-Me Designers I Fell Completely in Love With
Not every great find is a brand I’ve heard of before.
Sometimes the best discoveries are the ones that make you stop scrolling, pick up the piece, and immediately want to learn more.
🖤 Courrèges
The silhouettes. The details. The way even a single piece feels futuristic and timeless at the same time.
⭐ Tyler McGillivary
Pure wearable art. Bold colors, unexpected shapes, and the kind of designs that make people ask, “Where did you find that?”
One of my favorite parts of collecting and reselling is discovering designers I would’ve walked right past a year ago.
What’s a designer you discovered late and instantly became obsessed with?

🏁 Collected Along the Way
Not every collectible starts with a plan.
Some come from road trips.
Some from flea markets.
Some from estate sales.
Some from standing in the right place at the right time.
As I started pulling together years of NASCAR finds, I realized every piece has its own story.
So now comes the hard part:
🏆 What deserves a permanent place on the shelf?
📦 What should be passed along to another collector who will appreciate it more?
This little corner includes:
• Diecasts
• Signed hats
• GEICO memorabilia
• Driver collectibles
• A few pieces I’m still researching
I’m curious what catches your eye first.
If you were building a display, what would be the centerpiece?
One thing I’ve noticed while learning resale is that a lot of advice online focuses on the same saturated brands or funnels people toward paid groups and courses.
I’ve been paying attention to live sales, sold listings, reseller discussions, and what experienced sellers consistently pick up, and a few “bread-and-butter” brands keep showing up because people are actively searching for them:
👢 Ariat
🏔️ Patagonia
🧥 Kuhl
🔨 Duluth Trading Co.
🐑 Pendleton
🌺 Tommy Bahama
➕ Torrid
🚜 Carhartt
🤠 Cinch
👖 Wrangler Retro
A few honorable mentions:
✨ Johnny Was
✨ Eileen Fisher
✨ Faherty
✨ Marine Layer
✨ Smartwool
✨ Columbia PFG
The bigger lesson I’m learning is that style often matters as much as the brand.
Things that seem to have strong demand:
✔️ Western wear
✔️ Outdoor and hiking gear
✔️ Linen, wool, silk, and other natural fibers
✔️ Plus-size fashion
✔️ Vintage pieces
✔️ Embroidery and unique details
✔️ Y2K and nostalgic styles
✔️ Workwear
I’d rather learn from actual buyer behavior and sold data than just repeat the same “bolo” lists. Curious what other brands people consistently see moving….
🤔What’s the brand you learned about from experience—not YouTube—that turned out to be a great seller?
