Valley HealthCare System to Dedicate New Flagpole at Morgantown Office

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Valley HealthCare System is proud to announce the installation of a new flagpole and American flag at its Morgantown office. The new flagpole stands as a symbol of patriotism, unity, and Valley's ongoing commitment to serving the community with compassion, dignity, and respect.

To commemorate this meaningful addition and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, Valley HealthCare System will host a Flag Dedication Ceremony on Thursday, July 9, at its Morgantown office. Staff, community partners, veterans, elected officials, and members of the community are invited to attend as Valley joins communities across the nation in honoring this historic milestone.

The installation of the flagpole was made possible, in part, through the generosity of the Enterprise Mobility Foundation, whose donation helped bring this project to life. Valley HealthCare System extends its sincere appreciation to the Foundation for supporting this lasting tribute to our nation and community.

As the country prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, the new flagpole serves as a visible reminder of the freedoms we cherish, the sacrifices made by our nation's service members and veterans, and Valley's commitment to fostering hope, healing, and service throughout the communities it serves.
"We are honored to dedicate this flagpole as we celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary," said Dr. Brian Sharp, Chief Executive Officer of Valley HealthCare System. "This ceremony provides an opportunity to reflect on our country's history, recognize the sacrifices of those who have served, and reaffirm our commitment to serving our communities with compassion and excellence. We are also incredibly grateful to the Enterprise Mobility Foundation for helping make this project possible."

The dedication ceremony will include remarks from Valley HealthCare System leadership, a formal flag-raising ceremony, and a moment of reflection honoring veterans, active-duty military personnel, first responders, and all those who have dedicated their lives to serving others.

The ceremony will be held on Thursday, July 9, at Valley HealthCare System's Morgantown office. Additional event details will be shared with invited guests prior to the ceremony.

Valley HealthCare System remains committed to strengthening the communities it serves through quality behavioral healthcare, community partnerships, and programs that promote wellness, recovery, and hope. The organization is proud to join communities across the nation in celebrating America's 250th anniversary while honoring the values of service, unity, and resilience that continue to define our country.
