RHC and Psychology Club hosts Hunger Banquet
RHC and Psychology Club hosts Hunger Banquet Jonadad Fequiere The Hunger Banquet took place on April 24, in St. Joseph’s Conference Room. The program aimed to highlight socioeconomic differences and raise hunger awareness. Student speakers Marrissa Gioffree, global studies and history ‘17, Hayyat Muheisen psychology ’17, Cristina Mendoza, art ’17, and Kimberland Land, early and elementary education ’17, hoped that those who attended not only learned about hunger, but also learned what they can do about it. Coffee house event
Coffee house event Community assistant Jonadad Fequiere will be hosting “CSE Coffee House” at 9:30 p.m. on May 4 in Upper Founders Lounge. The was created to foster diversity and arts within the campus community Live performances will take place such as singing, poetry/spoken word, and art presentations. EOF senior luncheon
EOF senior luncheon Dominique Schultz The Education Opportunity Fund program at the College conducted their senior luncheon on 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. April 22nd in Ward Dining hall. The luncheon was held to celebrate the seniors in the program who will be graduating and present them with academic achievement awards. The luncheon began with the director of the EOF department, Cliff Woodward, addressing the explaining the importance of EOF and how the program has helped each all of its students become the strong women they are today.
