On August 2nd of this year, our children surprised us with a spectacular 50th anniversary dinner at an incredible restaurant, Orion’s rooftop restaurant overlooking the ocean, located in the historic Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach, where we honeymooned!
We have had so many blessings over these past 50 years, including 5 wonderful children and 5 adorable grandchildren!
Our latest blessing was having the best lung doctor I could ask for, advise me to have lung surgery 7 weeks ago. The thoracic surgeon confirmed that I had lung cancer and was able to remove it all!
Needless to say, this was the best anniversary anyone could ask for with so much to celebrate!
We are truly blessed!
