I have shown a lot of videos so far emphasizing power and explosiveness. Both are very important aspects to being a top notch softball pitcher. But in this drill, the emphasis is on timing and sequencing of movements - 2 crucial yet very often overlooked elements for any particular sporting activity. Who cares if you can bench press the entire gym but you can’t sequence the movements properly to execute the desired sporting skill....... ie. hit a pitched ball, smash an overhead serve, or in the softball pitcher’s world ....... throw serious heat !!!!
