Bloom

Change can be scary and overwhelming, but it can also create opportunities. Change and adaptability have been looming consistently these past couple of years. First the pandemic created a change that knocked us all off our normal path, forcing us to do things differently. Slower, smaller, in new territory, and much of the time - harder. Always striving to make choices that would support the greater good.

The most important intention with our restaurant was to invest in our community, and add to the vitality of our beautiful downtown business district. A couple of years ago, I began searching for something that would not only add positivity to our community, but that would also be grounding and rewarding for me to pour my energy into while I operated our restaurant. For those of you who personally know me, you know that I am someone who enjoys genuine connections and helping other people. My handmade jewelry business , which I started in ~2013 has always afforded a creative outlet and a connection to art and beauty, but not the “helping others” part that I wanted.
