Well. The time is here. It’s Elise and Daniel’s last week.

Twenty years ago, when I bought a little coffee shop and told my cousin Elise about it, she said, “And I’m going to work there!”

Now, 20 years, a husband, and three adorable boys later, she’s off to new adventures. Over the years, Elise has poured her heart into this place, and alongside Daniel, they’ve brought warmth, laughter, and a whole lot of personality to our shop. Whether it was remembering names, perfecting drinks, or brightening mornings, they made this place feel like home for so many.

Together, Daniel and Elise became the dynamic duo our customers have known and loved. We’re going to miss them dearly, but we’re so excited to see where life takes them next. We wish them all the best ❤️

This week is a bittersweet one at Java Bug as we say goodbye to Jade after a couple amazing years with us. ❤️

Jade has poured her heart and soul into this shop from day one. She’s been a bright light behind the counter, and someone who made every customer feel welcomed and remembered. So many of you came in for coffee and left with a conversation, a smile, or a friendship because of her.

We’re going to miss her dearly, but we couldn’t be happier for her as she heads home to start an exciting new chapter: getting married!

Thank you, Jade, for everything you’ve given to Java Bug and this community. Your kindness, hard work, and heart helped shape this little coffee shop into what it is today. We love you and can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead for you. ☕✨
