Packer Bass Fishing

Every year the PBF teams battle not only the elements and Mother Nature they battle each other to qualify for regionals. They also battle for the Giddens Trophy!! The best Packer bass fishing team of the season!! It relies on consistency to maintain top finishes of each club derby with weight from their catches each club tourney!! This year was the closest it has ever been. Top 5 teams were separated no more than 2 lbs of each other so it come down to the very last derby with who would walk away as PBF Team of the Year!!!

They were awarded a Lews Speed Spool RX sponsored by Mr. Wendell Story, paired with a Temple Fork Outfitters 7’6 Professional Glass rod sponsored Madison Kinard of Adel Outfitters.

They also won a trip to Russell Springs, Kentucky for the 2026 Student Angler Federation World/National Championships on Lake Cumberland in June.
