Multiple rounds of rainfall throughout May have led to significant improvement in the drought across the state. Areas covered by Exceptional (D4) and Extreme (D3) drought conditions have significantly shrunk across Georgia compared to the beginning of May.

A great new resource is avaliable to help identify toxic weeds in Georgia pastures and hayfields.

The UGA Extension AG Water Team stopped by Colquitt County today to install soil moisture sensors in local corn fields. This work will help us see how well the SICropFit App performs for irrigation scheduling.
