The world just lost a wonderful soul in Dennis Rush. Dennis played “Opie Taylor’s” friend, “Howie Pruitt” on the Andy Griffith Show in the early 1960s. Not too long ago, Tim White and I had the honor of driving Dennis in the Mayberry Days Parade. He hitched a ride in the back of our Emmett’s Fix It Truck. Thoughts and prayers for Dennis’ family.
