💜 Hope Update 💜
We wanted to share a little update on our sweet girl, Hope!
Hope continues to do well and her wonderful personality is shining brighter every day. She is soaking up all the love and attention from her foster family and reminding everyone just how resilient she truly is. Watching her take these steps forward has been incredible.
This Saturday, Hope will return to the Vet at Paradise Animal Hospital to get her stitches removed and for a follow-up appointment to determine the next steps in her healing journey, perhaps getting a little more freedom from crate rest! While she still has a road ahead of her, she is one, huge step closer to simply being a dog again—and that is worth celebrating!!
We cannot thank each and every one of you enough for your support, prayers, donations, and encouragement throughout this journey. You have helped give Hope the chance she deserves.
As we continue moving forward with her care, we still need help covering her medical expenses. If you would like to support Hope’s recovery, please consider making a donation here: https://magsr.org/donate/hope/
Thank you for believing in Hope. 🐾❤️

Back in February, Hope’s journey captured so many hearts when she underwent surgery to save her leg after severe infection and complications. Despite months of treatment, multiple rounds of antibiotics, and endless crate rest, the infection continued to return. After extensive conversations with her surgeon and veterinary team, the difficult decision was made to amputate her leg on Friday so she could finally have the chance to heal and truly move forward.
And honestly? Hope seems to know this was the right decision.
She is adjusting incredibly well — almost as if she knew life would be better without the painful leg holding her back. She’s already hopping around beautifully on her remaining back leg, figuring out her balance like a pro, even when going to the bathroom. And in true Hope fashion… her energy is BACK. You can’t keep that girl down for long.
Her incision site looks absolutely phenomenal, and we are so thankful for the amazing work done by her surgical team. Most importantly, she just seems happier. She’s slowing down for extra head pets, leaning in for cuddles, and able to rest more comfortably. The next few weeks will be about rest, recovery, and making sure she doesn’t overdo it now that she’s feeling better — but seeing her spirit shine through again has been such a gift.
Thank you to every single person who has donated, shared, and supported Hope through this incredibly long road. Your love gave her the chance to keep fighting, and she continues to prove every single day just how special she is. We still need your help!
