🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

What an incredible Independence Day for our community!

Our volunteers started the morning helping with the July 4th Parade, answered several emergency calls throughout the day, and finished the evening keeping traffic moving safely after the fireworks. It was a long day, but serving our neighbors on one of America’s most special days is exactly why we do what we do.

There’s something special about seeing our community come together to celebrate our nation’s freedom. We are proud to play a small part in helping make those memories happen safely.

Now… can we all agree it was about 147 degrees outside? 🥵 If you saw one of our members melting into the pavement, don’t worry… we made it!

Thank you to everyone who waved, smiled, and showed their support throughout the day. We are blessed to serve such an amazing community.

Here’s to 250 years of freedom, service, and hometown pride.

Leadership is important, but at Mount Airy Rescue Squad, leadership has never been about titles, it's about service.

As we begin our 2026-2027 fiscal year, we are excited to announce the officers who have been elected to help lead our organization forward. These individuals represent a mix of experience, dedication, and a shared commitment to serving our community when it needs us most.

We are grateful for those who have stepped up to serve in these roles, and we're equally grateful for every member who continues to answer calls, attend training, support events, maintain equipment, and serve behind the scenes. The strength of our organization has never been found in one person, but in the people who work together toward a common purpose.
As we move into another year, our focus remains the same; providing professional rescue and emergency services, supporting our community, and continuing to build an organization that future generations will be proud to be part of.

From community events and fundraising to member support and behind-the-scenes operations, our auxiliary members help keep everything moving forward. You are still part of the same family, the same team, and the same mission.
