True Rescue

Good evening! We are LAZY (left, female), and DAZY (right, female), and we are pleased to meet you! We were found on a street in Clarksville, TN with our brother, Goatee, who was adopted this past weekend. We were not quite ready to go yet, since we had been pretty anemic upon arriving at True Rescue in early June, plus we were still on the fence about accepting humans into our everyday lives. Well, turns out, we decided that humans actually SHOULD be a part of our everyday lives, because we literally wouldn't be alive without them, so we've had a change of heart. Yes, it was humans that threw us out in the first place, but we believe there is more good than bad out there, and True Rescue has assured us that they will only put us with the best approved family, so looks like we can rest easy in the knowledge that we will find a great home soon. Good morning, and Happy 4th of July! We are MAMA MEADOW & THE BUG BABIES! I was brought into True Rescue on 4/29, which was 2 days after I gave birth on a front porch of a house. I certainly had wished I had the luxury of an indoor suite with a live-in housekeeper, but being from the streets didn't offer me many choices. Lucky for me, I was whisked off of the ground and taken to my own personal nursing room in a foster home with True Rescue...and guess what?! I DID have staff there, and I was given everything I wanted. I might have acted a bit protective at first, and took a bit to warm up to my caretakers, but ultimately we came to an understanding that as long as they gave me and my babies everything we wanted, then I would behave. This behavior painted me into being a bit of a "diva", and maybe I kind of forgot where I came from. It's hard when you go from rags to riches, and is easy to forget! So our names are reflecting the outdoor environment from whence we came, as a gentle reminder that we were the lucky ones. My babies will be at the PetSmart ADOPTION EVENT going on today in Mt. Juliet from 11-3. I'll be held back for a spay date this coming week, then I'll move to the shelter. I know you're seeing a lot of us "single" kittens being announced, because True Rescue was inundated with lots of single kittens coming in recently, and all for different reasons. I can't speak much to my past, but I was picked up in between two apartment complex units in Murfreesboro, TN, and I was very sick. True Rescue took me in and got me into a medical foster right away, who healed me. My foster loved me so much, and believed I was rich with blessings, so she named me Musa, after a West African Mali Emperor from the 1300's, who was considered the wealthiest person in history! Isn't that cool?!! Well, I might not be financially wealthy, but definitely rich with the love I have in my life right now, so it's time to spread the wealth! Let's get rich and form a family! Look for me tomorrow, because I'll be at the ADOPTION EVENT at PetSmart in Mt. Juliet, TN from 11-3, along with 45 other kittens. There are also dozens more kittens at the True Rescue shelter plus hundreds of adults. We all need homes, and we're so appreciative of your consideration. By adopting us, True Rescue can save more. Can't wait to see you tomorrow, because I feel like a million bucks!
