Quarterly tax payments are typically due four times per year:

• April 15
• June 15
• September 15
• January 15 (following year)

If a due date falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline moves to the next business day.

Missing payments or paying too little throughout the year can sometimes lead to IRS penalties and interest, even if you receive a refund when filing your return.
