Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots

Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) carrots, peeled and sliced
3 tbsp butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add the carrots and cook for 5-7 minutes, until tender.
Stir in brown sugar, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.
Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the carrots are caramelized, about 5 more minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
