To the Members of Mount Vernon Gym,

My name is Kale Roethle, and as of today, I am honored to be the new owner of Mount Vernon Gym and wanted to introduce myself.

First, gratitude. This gym has served Mount Vernon since 1999, and for the past 15 years Jeff and Amy Briscoe cared for it with a dedication that speaks for itself. They built a great community, and they did it with heart. Jeff and Amy are also lifetime friends of mine, and I don’t take lightly what it means that they’ve trusted me to carry this legacy forward. You’ll hear from them in their own words shortly, and I hope you’ll give them all the gratitude they’ve earned as they enter the next phase of their lives post MV gym.

I grew up here in Mount Vernon, graduated from Mount Vernon ISD, and will soon be graduated from the University of Arkansas. I’ve been extremely fortunate to personally experience how wonderful of a community we have here in Mount Vernon and the people and culture that surround it. I am so excited to be able to give back to this community via the MV Gym. I will pour my heart and soul into this new adventure!

I believe Mount Vernon Gym’s best days are still ahead of it! Beginning in late July we have some big plans for the MV gym and what I can tell you is that it will be sculpted with this community in mind, and I believe it will be well worth the wait.

Thank you Briscoe’s for the years you’ve poured into this place, for the trust you’re extending to me, and for being the reason any of this is worth doing. Gym community, I look forward to meeting each of you, and to earning the same loyalty you gave the Briscoes for so long.
