Between baby showers, graduations, and retirements we are always so grateful to be part of so many new beginnings.

These past two weeks have been an absolute whirlwind of parties and private events on top of our usual orders, and there’s still no ending in sight.

Taking this little downtime to take a breather and extend much gratitude to all of you having us part of your life’s moments. We are always delighted to be here for you.

Oh you know, it’s only a little snack 🍵

Our first pop up was at the San Jose Nikkei Matsuri Festival in 2022. And come Sunday, we’ll make our second public appearance, ever.

As our kitchen becomes more active these next couple of days, it’s easy to be reminded of the excitement and anxiety leading up the first event. The opportunity to showcase our cookies to a wider audience was the primary motivation to participate. But with little expectations, there was no reference on how many cookies to prepare and if they would even be well received.

It was only after we set up our booth did we take a deep breath and let whatever was meant to happen, happen. And what happened was we saw family and friends show their support. We connected with new members of our community. We saw smiles on people’s faces eating our cookies. And we sold out. And suddenly, everything became more real.

One year later, and we’re back. Still excited. Still a little anxious. But more committed in enjoying ourselves and doing what we do best. Making our best versions of home made cookies for you to enjoy.
