On this date 10 YEARS AGO, I had my very first paid walk! I truly cannot believe it’s been 10 years! So many smiles, so many laughs, so many friends made, so many blisters, so many amazing things have happened to me because of being a Dog Walker! This is a celebratory post as well as a message to thank every single human that has ever hired me to care for their pet(s)! Trust me, I know how scary that can be! Thank you for allowing me to be that person for you, for 10 years! I think most people know that this career switch absolutely changed my life. As a state worker and parole officer, I dealt with very dark and disturbing topics and being able to now work with dogs, cats, and sometimes chickens has changed my entire life. It has changed my brain, changed my heart and most definitely changed my feet. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to care for your pets and for following along on my journey here on social media. I appreciate every single one of you!
