"The Motorcycle Diaries" or "Diarios de motocicleta" (2004) is an acclaimed Spanish-language biographical road movie directed by Walter Salles chronicling a 1952 journey across South America by a young Ernesto "Che" Guevara and his friend Alberto Granado. It shows their transformation from seeking adventure on a motorcycle to becoming deeply moved by the poverty and social inequality they witness.
