Autism Center Stage

Sir Dantes and one of his best friends after the first full day of school. They started seventh grade this year.

I'm so proud of both of them but neither will probably be mainstreamed into gen ed classes. It's not because they are not smart because they are! It's more of because the social abilities are delayed and the sensory issues.

I use to be so mad about this but Sir Dantes is actually happier and learns better in the small groups of his peers.

And, he would be bullied to an extent without even realizing it.

What a sorry excuse for a teacher.
