This past week we had two students competing at the SkillsUSA National Leadership Conference in Atlanta GA. The conference had 19,000 attendees and more than 6,000 students from across the nation competing 115 competitions.

Let’s congratulate our Industrial Maintenance Control students Mr. Adrian and Mr. Jared for bringing back the gold medal in Robotics and Automation! They represented themselves and TCAT-Murfreesboro extremely well. Their hard work and determination truly paid off. This is a monumental accomplishment for our students and our campus!

A huge shout out to Mr. Rodney, IMC instructor, that dedicated the time and energy to ensure the students were prepared for their competition. Mr. Thomas Covington is our lead advisor and provided the much-needed support in making sure all students knew what was needed during the jammed pack week. Their leadership is what aided the success during competitions.

We had the opportunity to partner with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive at TCAT Murfreesboro, supporting an important cause within our community.

TCAT Murfreesboro Computer Aided Design (CADT) students participated in a hands-on educational field trip to the New Nissan Stadium construction site in Nashville, Tennessee — the future home of the Tennessee Titans. The walkthrough offered students a firsthand look at a large-scale, active stadium construction project, providing real-world context for trades and applied technology disciplines taught in the classroom.
