From July 7-31, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is raising awareness through its "Speeding Catches Up With You" campaign. Speeding increases crash severity, reduces reaction time and extends stopping distance. Obey posted speed limits and adjust your speed for weather, traffic and road conditions.

A few minutes saved is never worth the risk. Slow down and arrive safely.

Celebrating 250 Years: As we come together to celebrate our nation’s 250th, it’s a good time to remember what this holiday is about. “Freedom has its life in the hearts, the actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed—else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die.” Dwight D. Eisenhower said that in 1963, and it still hits home today. Freedom isn’t automatic; it’s something we live out, protect, and appreciate every single day.
