Maverick – The Soft & Gentle Brother

Maverick is the only solid black kitten in his litter, with silky medium-length fur that’s as soft as a cloud. He’s a very gentle boy with a calm, loving nature and enjoys both playful moments and cozy cuddle time. With his striking good looks and sweet personality, Maverick will be that exceptional and affectionate companion in his forever home.

We took in three new dogs today, all of them very special. But this little guy came here to Camp Snooty and I've had the day to get to know him a little and want to go ahead and do his introduction, because I quickly fell head over heels. He is a 12 week old Boston terrier puppy with some visible genetic defects. He has no eyes, his jaw and mouth have some structural issues and he has not really developed teeth. Not many anyway. He is visibly special and he is so sweet he makes your skin melt to hold him. He had a family and they wanted what was best for him and made a tough decision. While he has grown into a pretty large boy, he was apparently quite tiny as a young puppy and they began to lovingly call him "Flea". They were concerned about his name being changed because he knows his name and that's what they've always called him. He does know his name and because it makes him so happy to hear his name when he can't find us....we shall call keep calling him Flea. His Snooty name will be Cirque de Fle(a)....because immediately when we took some one on one time today, I wrote a little story in my head about a blind puppy named Flea who goes to the circus and describes everything he "saw" (with his nose and ears) to his friends. So, that's that. Cirque de Fle(a)....but you can call him Flea. He is special inside and out and I am quite honored to see him through this chapter.
