new counter design includes this custom cabinet. It acts as a partition wall separating the retail space from storage and it was built to accommodate two levels of 10 gallon ceramic crocks which contain their delicious ferments. The face of the cabinet is eastern red cedar that has been planned down. The top is a counter made of 2x10 cedar slabs. They are making truly exciting foods that have been fermented like tempeh, sauerkraut, kimchi, coconut milk kefir, hot sauces, kvass and more. This design was a collaboration with John Parker and Simmer Tidman and it was birthed from their concepts of community and creativity.
