The ACT WorkKeys assessment measures the real-world skills employers care about most, things like applied math, reading workplace documents and graphic literacy.
Complete the core assessments, and you'll earn an ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate. It's issued at four levels from Bronze to Platinum, and this credential can be used to apply for jobs, demonstrate your abilities to employers or even earn college credit. Best of all, Rutherford Works offers free access to testing and resources to Rutherford County residents who are unemployed or enrolled in adult education.
Whether you're just starting your career or ready to take the next step, this could be the edge you've been looking for. Message us to find out how to get started!

Thinking about applying for the Rutherford Works Educator Externship next year? One participant summed it up best: the week was "enriching both professionally and personally." 🏭
Participants spent a week getting hands-on with local industries, from touring Nissan's Smyrna plant to going behind the scenes at local hospitals to visiting a soon-to-be world-class stadium. Every single participant rated the experience "Very Good" and said they would recommend it to a fellow educator.
If you're a Rutherford County educator ready to see your community's career landscape through a brand-new lens, keep an eye out for the next application window. Your students will thank you for it.

Most workplace incidents aren't caused by careless people; they're caused by systems that weren't designed to catch them.
