been thinkin about my old wreck this journal from middle/high school which apparently didn’t make the move to college 🤦🏼‍♀️ i’ve been doing a lot of thinking about prompts, rule-making, and process in my art, which brings me to think about this old “sketchbook” of mine from growing up. each page had a prompt and the resulting stains, tears, or accidental imagery brought me so much joy, but not as much as the act of creating them did. i’ll use spring break to stop planning and start doing, to make some messes and clean them up! i’ve been busy prepping screens and reworking my previous prints, but it’s time to let loose and just make some stuff.
