“On Feb. 26, 2024, we lost our beautiful son, Branden, just six days after his 17th birthday. Branden was such a blessing to our family. He had a caring spirit, which is why it was no surprise that he chose to be an organ and tissue donor the year before.

In the shock and grief of losing our boy, we chose to honor his decision. Branden saved five lives and helped 64 others. We are in touch with four of these recipients so far.

Branden saved a baby girl, a man who is now a new father, another who is a new grandfather, and another who was able to return to his business. It has been something for our family and friends to hold on to.
