This is not a typical job, here at ABC Great Beginnings, you will be paid to play. Although ensuring the safety of the kids and teaching them lessons each day is still a required part of the daily routine. Helping them learn and develop through guided play is rewarding for both you and the children.
Shifts available: 10-7, 11-7 or 4:30-7
Pay and Benefits.
SIGN-ON BONUS: $150 after 30 days.
· Pay: Our pay rates are competitive with the industry, and there are opportunities for bonuses and pay increases throughout the year. The pay rate is dependent on experience and other factors, based on each individual applicant. (Child Care needs, full or part-time, shift availability, etc.) We also offer paid holiday and accrued Paid Time Off.

· Reduced Childcare: ABC Great Beginnings offers reduced Childcare, depending on the age of your child. Rates will be negotiated during the hiring process.

· No Evenings or Weekend Shifts: Our Murray Center is not open evenings and weekends. Our Murray center is Open 6:00 AM - 7:00. PM

· Training and Support: Your initial training is paid and more than doubles state requirements. We encourage and support ongoing education, and in many situations provide tuition assistance.

ABC Great Beginnings in Murray is hiring.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The cook / kitchen supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cooking, cleanliness and oversight of the kitchen each day.

The kitchen regularly feeds 150 + kids and adults, and is responsible for ensuring production of breakfast, lunch and snack each day and needs to be able to work at a fast pace.

The kitchen supervisor is responsible for tracking production and inventory of food each day, and assisting with food orders.

HOURS: Full Time: 7:00 – 4:00, but can be flexible as needed.

Pay: $11+/ hr, Depending on Experience.

REQUIREMENTS:Must have valid drivers licenseMust be 21 or older
· Must have a current Utah Food Handlers permit
· Must be able to pass background / FBI screen
· Must have 1 or more years cooking / production experience.

ADDITONAL INFORMATION
· Be at least 16 years of age or older
· Love Children - previous experience is preferred but not necessary.
· Be able to get along and respect clients, children, and other teammates
· Be able to acquire a CPR/ First Aid certification if needed and a food handlers permit
· Be able to pass a background and Fingerprint screen and drug screen.
