VFW Post 10420

I had the distinct honor of MCing the Memorial Day ceremony at VFW Post 10420 in Murrells Inlet today. The Battle Cross ceremony performed by the Combat Veterans Association honors those killed on the battlefield and is always very moving.

At the end of the ceremony, I got emotional and speechless when the post honored me with this brick to be placed at the base of the memorial that honors the fallen in SC. Best of all, this brick will go right next to the one that honors my Grandfather and father, both who served proudly. To my friends and Vets at the post, thank you for kindness.

As I've always said, movie stars and athletes are not my heroes. My heroes have always been Veterans, especially those who gave their lives defending our freedom.

Unfortunately due the lack of supply of fresh haddock & the cost of a comparable fish we will not be able to offer fish this Friday(tomorrow) we will offer our full menu and have shrimp po'boys & linguine w/ clam sauce on special along w/ new england clam chowder. Next Friday after many calls, we will have haddock back on the friday menu.
