Full-time position available with a local swine operation. Unit is located 2 miles north of the bypass in Muscatine!
This position is for a swine technician - duties include but not limited to daily pig care, processing, castration, and cleaning. We provide health and dental benefits! Hours are 6:30am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and every other weekend. Weekend hours are 6:30am to 11am. Starting pay is $16, willing to train! Looking to hire immediately! I’m Mike Deahr, a pork producer from eastern Iowa! Tis’ the season for giving which is why I’m accepting the challenge from another local pork producer. I’d like to challenge other local producers to donate ham or any pork products to their local food pantry this season!

We are looking for a Finishing Specialist to join our team!
Finishing Specialist will assist with the following duties:
• Daily care of pigs from wean age to market.
• Provide daily feed back to the field manager.
• Helping to sort/load market loads.
• Assist with receiving wean pigs.

Full time hours of work are 6:30am-4pm Monday – Friday. Every other weekend from 6:30-noon. Flexible schedule is helpful for early morning market loads. Starting wage is $15/hr.
