We were excited to open Google Maps and see that they updated their background imagery. The Deep Lakes Campground layout is now visible! I am including our current map in case anyone want to see how the spots are numbered.

A wild edibles hike took a slight detour today to build a nest box for a little owl in need. Thank you to the “Mother’s Day Foray” attendees for taking time to help reunite baby barred owl with its mom and dad. 💚 Happy Mother’s Day weekend, everyone.

We had the BEST groups of volunteers today for the Muskie Day of Caring! HUGE thanks for all the hard work!

This morning at Discovery Park we weeded the front flower beds - filling an entire pickup truck with weeds and mulched the front bed and all the trees around Shelter 1 (a whole dump truck load of mulch!!)

This afternoon we mulched, watered and put up fencing around the trees at the Deep Lakes Campground!
