Whether you're a seasoned runner or just want to enjoy a fun walk with friends and family, we've got something for everyone:

🐷🌟 Join Us for the 2026 Bacon Buddies® Swine Show at the Muscatine County Fair Co-Sponsored by ChildServe! 🌟🐷

We're thrilled to bring Bacon Buddies® back to the Muscatine County Fair — an unforgettable experience that gives individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities the opportunity to shine in the show ring!

👕 Each Buddy will be partnered with two awesome 4-H or FFA youth mentors and a pig, learning how to exhibit in a real swine show setting. Together, they’ll build friendships, confidence, and lifelong memories.

📅 Event Date: July 16 2026 (during the Muscatine County Fair)
📍 Location: Muscatine County Fairgrounds - Swine Barn

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
✨ Buddies: Individuals with an intellectual and/or developmental disability, age 10+
✨ Youth Mentors: 4-H or FFA members, age 12+, ready to make a difference

🎉 All Buddies receive a fair ribbon, t-shirt, and fair admission ticket!
👖 Show attire includes closed-toe shoes, long pants, and the official Bacon Buddies® T-shirt.

📣 Please note: The fair environment includes lights and sounds. We encourage participants to bring any calming or auditory devices that support a comfortable experience.

We’ve got TWO exciting opportunities for our 4-H Clover Kids at the Muscatine County Fair – and no fair entry is required, just show up the day of!

📌 Static Exhibits
🗓 Monday, July 13 (during scheduled club time)
9:00-10:00am Sunshine Clover Kids
10:00-11:00am Little Hustlers
11:00-12:00pm Stampeding Clover Kids & Clover Cats
1:00-2:00pm Liberty Clover Kids

📍 4-H Building (Activity Center)
🖼 Exhibits stay on display all week!
📦 Pick-up: Sunday, July 19 at 4:00 PM

🐶 Eligible pets: Cats, Dogs, Rabbits, Fish, Birds & Pocket Pets under 200 lbs

All animals, communications, awardrobe clothing event, and static exhibits to be shown at the Muscatine County Fair must be entered into FairEntry.

ALL animals to be shown at the Muscatine County Fair must be entered into FairEntry from May 16-June 16. Late livestock entries will be assessed a $25 late fee per entry until July 1st. After July 1st NO ANIMAL ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Communications & Awardrobe Clothing Event entries must be entered by July 1.

Static (non-living, 4-H Building) exhibits MUST be entered by 11:59pm on July 9th. Exhibits will NOT be accepted at the door.
