Dani and I spent the day figuring out how the studio is going to move forward from here and we have some fun stuff planned and a new studio in the works. Keep your eyes open in the next few days as our plans develop into real life. We’ll have ways you can support the move and keep the studio alive! Thank you Shelby at WQAD for reaching out and helping spread the word and awareness. Our businesses, and especially residents, downtown still need help as we maneuver through this.

Downtown evacuations force Muscatine yoga business to start over again When Lindsay Broders opened Energy 108 YOGA in downtown Muscatine in 2019, she never imagined she'd have to rebuild her business twice in less than a decade.

📣 YOGA ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

We have 2 temporary locations we are working with at the moment and I want to throw in more outdoor classes. Thank you to anyone who reached out about using your space. I talked to downtown owners first because I wanted to keep business downtown to keep the love going down here and help keep traffic up. I’m happy for these these opportunities.

Most classes for now will be held at The MAYNARD (formerly known as Overlook Ballroom) which is in the old hotel Muscatine above The Pearl and Laura’s Landing. This is a new event space going up that hasn’t gone totally Live yet so I’m grateful to Chelsea for offering the space for now. It’s been newly renovated and the river view is AMAZING! Address is 101 West Mississippi Dr. You may use the parking garage behind the Merrill if there is no street parking.

I am trying Hot Yoga at a space offered to me at 222 Walnut St. (Next door to Jody’s Bar) TOMORROW at 5:30PM. Come flow with me and let’s see if this building can handle a Hot Yoga class! With these old buildings you never know until you try. If all works out tomorrow, more Hot Yoga classes will get added to the schedule. After 5PM & Weekends we can use the parking lot on 3rd St. behind Jody’s Bar if you don’t see street parking available.

Here is what I have this week to work with for classes this week. Lindsay will be the only one teaching the classes as we figure things out-

**Grass area in between Carver Pump and Harbor Freight on Park Ave. May park in either parking lot. You can always come late or leave early if you can’t stay long**
• Thursday- 12:10-12:50PM Restorative Yoga

**More classes will get added if it stays heated well**
• Wednesday- 5:30PM Hot Yoga

• Friday- 9:00AM Restorative Yoga
• Friday- 10:00AM Power Yoga (exactly what we do in Hot Yoga, just without the heat)
• Sunday- 9:00AM 108 Sun Salutations
• Sunday- 10:30AM YIN & Myofascial Release
