The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Middle East Crusade Report
I’ve just returned from our very first Gospel Crusade in the Middle East, and I want to share an honest update with you—the challenges, the breakthroughs, and what God did in the midst of it all.
To be transparent, this was the most difficult crusade I have ever organized in the 11 years of full-time ministry. It was the most expensive, money was stolen from us, the government was threating our crusade director, we faced multiple postponements due to logistical and leadership challenges, and there were moments of significant uncertainty throughout the process. Attendance in person was lower than we had hoped, and there were many other obstacles along the way.
But despite all of that, God did something far greater than we could have planned.
All three nights of the crusade were broadcast on a Christian television network reaching an estimated 20 million homes across the world. On the final night alone, approximately 13 million people watched the live broadcast. This number was confirmed through multiple contacts at the television station.
While it is impossible to know exactly how many individuals made decisions for Christ through the broadcast, we believe hundreds of thousands—and potentially millions surrendered their lives to Jesus for the very first time. HALLELUJAH!!! I praise Jesus for this opportunity.
And beyond the broadcast, the presence of the Holy Spirit was unmistakable during the entire crusade.
Yes, we saw physical healing take place during the meetings. But some of the most powerful moments happened afterward. Traveling with a team of five, we spent time each night praying for individuals personally after the services. During those moments, we witnessed numerous healings and deliverances, like real demons leaving people. It truly was an amazing site to see. The power and presence of God were evident each night. I encourage you to watch all three video updates I posted on Facebook so you can see with your own eyes what the Lord did in the Middle East.
I am deeply grateful for your prayers and financial support that made this crusade possible. Without partners like you, moments like these simply would not happen. Because of your generosity, millions heard the Gospel—both through television and in person—and countless lives were impacted by the message of Jesus Christ.
I have three, possibly four, more Gospel Crusades planned for this year. I’ll be sharing more details with you soon about what we have planned for the months ahead.
