Excited to welcome all the students back to campus tomorrow. We are thrilled to meet all of our new students and to greet our returning students.

Classes scheduled for tomorrow January 7, 2026 are as follows:

💇🏽BAR113 - Fundamentals of Barbering Application - Begins at 4:00PM

💥SENIOR SPOTLIGHT💥

Meet Forrest Robertson our senior Barbering student here at NWSCC. Outside of assigned duty stations with the Air Force, Forrest has resided in the Shoals area for most of his life. He is happily married to Mackenzie Grace, with whom he shares a son with named Ledger Kai. They also have 2 cats and a dog. Fun fact about Forrest is that he is the youngest of seven older sisters.

You can find Forrest working behind the chair at Elite Barbering & Beauty offering haircuts, hot shaves, and hairstyling services.

When asked what his favorite part about the Salon Management Program at NWSCC he said the comradery. He has enjoyed the new faces and seeing everyone strive for the same goals. Forrest chose the Barbering Program at NWSCC so he could take advantage of his VA benefits while earning his education.

PATRIOT ALERT: Due to storm damage to the Northwest Shoals Community College Shoals campus, the Shoals campus is closed. Shoals campus classes will be held in a virtual format Monday, February 17th. Shoals campus employees should contact their supervisors for further work schedule instructions.
