Anyone else think it's robbery for the government to postpone your benefit if you're working in retirement?

Yes, you can delay, but the fact they can lower your check and postpone payment to a later date if you decide to file early and work is absurd.

At least don't walk into it blindly. Know the limits, and plan for it.
