Heading to Pere Marquette Beach this Fourth of July weekend? 🏖️

Holiday weekends are some of our busiest times of the year, and parking near the shoreline fills up quickly. Skip the traffic and the search for a parking spot by hopping on the free City of Muskegon Beach Shuttle.

With two routes running all weekend, it's an easy way to get from downtown Muskegon, local hotels, or nearby street parking directly to the beach.

Holiday weekend shuttle hours:

🚌 Friday & Saturday: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
🚌 Sunday: 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM

📱 Track your shuttle: Download the MyBus by MATS app or text your stop number to 231-638-4445 for real-time arrival information.

📍 Convenient pickup: Catch the shuttle at Western Avenue & 6th Street, just outside the Visit Muskegon Visitor Center.

The shuttles are fully accessible and equipped with bike racks, making it easy to bring your beach gear along.

We also put together a blog with route maps, shuttle tips, and everything you need to plan your beach day:

We'd love to see your Fourth of July weekend at the lakeshore! Share your beach or shuttle photos in the comments, and have a safe and happy Independence Day weekend.
